Criticism
School of Architecture and Landscape Design has also attracted many criticisms for various reasons as stated below.
- SALD, being the only architectural institution in Jammu and Kashmir, is looked after for the help in community development in the adjoining areas of Kakriyal. Unlike its parent Institution, SALD has not involved itself in any Community Development work.[4]
- SALD is also criticized for not involving and supporting any Research or Student activity. [5][6][7]
- SALD also lacks Laboratories despite completing its 5 years. [5][8]
- SALD doesn't have the prescribed number of faculty. [2][5]
